Fill level's effect on carbonation

There was post up on the BN forum asking this tonight:

Try to determine if there is anything to the myth behind "high fill" we all see during judging. Perhaps you can you do a thorough measurement on this and scientifically measure carbonation level, and determine whether fill level changes the amount of CO2 that goes into carbonation?

i can say i bottle condition

i can say i bottle condition about half of what i brew and i fill as close to the same in every bottle.... but i'm human, not a machine. i have never noticeda difference netween bottles with varying levels. however,  it may just not be noticeable to me. i haven't done a triagle test but i have tried them side by side
