Mashing Instructions:
Single Infusion rest – 60 minutes at 148°F
(Add 1 dose of BSG Amylo-300 or White Labs Ultra Ferm to the mash - follow package instructions)
Mash Out – 168°F for 10 minutes
Hops:
0.125 oz Magnum 15%AA 60 minutes
0.25 oz Willamette 4.5%AA 0 minutes
Extra Ingredients:
Amylo300 or White Labs Ultra Ferm, added to the mash.
Yeast:
Saflager – W-34/70, WLP830, Wyeast 2124, Wyeast 2007
Special Instructions / Notes:
Cool wort completely to pitching temperature 48°F.
Either use a traditional lager schedule or modified Narziss method
Water Treatment:
Low mineral count- minimum 50ppm Ca for conversion.
