Pale Oat Mild

A silky smooth and toasty malt forward mild with toffee notes and that richness of oats without a ton of hop character. Yes, if you overloaded the hopping this thing would be a light weight NE Session IPA.

Batch size

Hey Drew,

Really enjoy your and Danny's podcasts. I went back to this episode because I love the less hoppy, malt-forward British style ales and wanted to give this one a go.

Could you explain what you mean by batch size? I find this a somewhat confusing term that could mean different things to different brewers. Does it mean "vol into fermenter", "volume at flame out" or possibly "vol into packaging"?

Thanks in advance

Cheers from a wet and wintery NZ

Jon

Yeah, when I talk batch size,

Yeah, when I talk batch size, I mean the amount into the fermenter!
