Mashing Instructions: 

Mash In: 125°F

Low Rest: 144°F

High Rest: 158°F

Mashout: 169°F


0.7oz Hallertauer Mittlefruh - 6.5% - 60 minutes

0.5oz Perle - 7.5%AA - 60 minutes

1.1 oz Spalt - 5% AA - 20 minutes

Special Instructions / Notes: 

Primary between 59-68F.

Secondary at 50F.

Then condition at 32F for 14 days.

Hey Guys,

Great show. Listen all the time. The timing for this one was amazing. I was looking for a Altbier recepie and the show came out. I have a question. Looking at the Zum Uirege Alt it seems that a 5.9lb pilsner bill for 1048 OG seems wrong. I used the exact bill on Beersmith and it is coming out to be 1037 or close.

Can you verify? what would be the adjustment or am I doing something wrong.
