Denny and Drew,
Throughout so many podcasts, we've learned that Denny is the experimenter or rather reexperimenter, tweaking a recipe many times over. We know that Drew is not afraid to try anything at least once with a batch of beer. So with all of these trials and errors a lot of beer is likely being made. Based on that assumption, what do you do with all of the beer you produce? If a batch is just so-so do you dump it? Do you drink it?
As an example I've made Rye IPA once and enjoyed it but Denny, if you made that batch a zillion times to achieve it's perfection, did you drink uber gallons of it? Drew I can't imagine consuming 5 gallons of Clam Chowder let alone Clam Chowder Saison haha. Though I do love a good Saison.
I typically make 5g batches and at least 2 gallons is given to friends and family and by the time a keg kicks, I'm over that flavor or style whatever..... So to all of you's guys out there, how much do you make in an experiment, how much do you consume, do you give it away, give it to your dog, do listeners stalk you for your finished products? So what's the buzz, tell me what's a happening?
